Tour Update: Julia Morris Adds Additional Shows

Julia Morris

Following incredible demand for tickets, multi-talented Australian comedian JULIA MORRIS has added a second Brisbane show to her Lift and Separate Golden Jubilee Tour as she prepares to return to the stage in May/June to take her one woman show around the country.

Freshly out of Africa following the conclusion of the latest season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, Morris’s 18-show tour will see her performing the show for the first time in 15 regional towns and centres, as well as return seasons in Geelong, Parramatta, Chatswood and Brisbane having completely sold out the 2017 seasons in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Tickets for the extra Brisbane show go on sale at 11am on Friday, March 23.

My Live Nation members can be among the first to secure tickets during the pre-sale beginning at 10am, March 22. For complete tour and ticketing details, visit: livenation.com.au.

As a woman in her extreme 30’s, Julia’s brand new show will deliver her signature full tilt, high octane stand up storytelling, leading directly to what she calls “hurty tummy laughter”. A delicious and raucous romp through the last two years, Life and Separate, in true Morris form, comes replete with a dissension into general madness and the journey back home, all the while trying to make sense of day-to-day life while trying to actually, lift and separate.

Morris completely sold out her 2015 live show, I Don’t Want Your Honest Feedback, picking up her 2nd Helpmann Award nomination for Best Comedy Performer in the process. The two-time Silver Logie nominee is also a TV fave for her role on Nine’s House Husbands and as co-host of Network Ten’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

Morris completely owns the stage – it’s a sight to behold. Don’t miss it!

“The super-sexy diva of comedy is deeply, fundamentally FUNNY.”
–  Sydney Morning Herald“She can reduce an audience to a limp heap of laughed-out exhaustion… a jewel in the national crown.”
