Cheap Trick may be one of the most covered bands of all time. Since the 70s they’ve been blending elements of pop, punk and even metal in a way that is instantly catchy and recognisable. With timeless classics such as “I Want You to Want Me,” “Surrender,” and the late 80s lighter-waving favourite, “The Flame,” CHEAP TRICK are a musical institution. Made up of Robin Zander on Lead Vocals & Guitar, Tom Petersson on Bass & Vocals and father and son duo Rick and Daxx Nielsen on Lead Guitar & Vocals, and Drums respectively the band have done more than 5,000 performances, sold 20 million records, been in 29 movie soundtracks, and earned 40 gold and platinum recording awards. Already announced to play with Foreigner, on the 14th of October at Adelaide’s Botanical Park, Cheap Trick will also bring their bombastic live shot to Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on the 15th of October, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on the 17th of October and Brisbane’s The Tivoli on the 18th of October.
