News: Toque releases new single “Down Again” by Queen City Kids

The all star Canadian group Toque have released their latest single “Down Again”. Originally release by Queen City Kids out of Regina, Saskatchewan. Ironically Toques lead vocalist and guitarist Todd Kerns also hails from Saskatchewan.

You may know Kerns from The Age Of Electric, Static In Stereo but also that up and coming band Slash Ft Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators (SMKC). Fellow SMKC band member Brent Fitz (haling from Winnipeg) switches his drum sticks for Bass Guitar in Toque, but considering he is a well versed multi instrumentalist, it is really no stretch. Cory Churko who currently plays in Shania Twain’s band and previously Kelly Clarkson’s band is on lead guitar and vocals, and rounding out the group is Shane Gaalaas on drums, who currently also plays in one of Japans biggest groups “B’z”

Toque released their debut album “Give’r” in 2016 which also featured another Queen City Kids track “Dance” along with many of their favourite Canadian Classics. In late 2017 Toque also released a fantastic cover of Alanis Morrisettes smash hit “Ironic”, and has recorded a full second album which will include a brand new original song
