Blanco Brown has taken the world by storm with his unique sound of country sensibility mixed with hip-hop hustle, a fusion that has sent fans crazy with the “The Git Up” and will no doubt extend to his newly released self-titled EP. Blurring the lines between Country and hip-hop music, Blanco Brown makes a southern sound that he proudly calls “TrailerTrap”. It’s a boundary-breaking, multicolored genre of his very own — which draws upon the rawness and storytelling abilities of his two biggest musical influences, Johnny Cash and Outkast.
“The Git Up” is an infectious tune that combines traditional country music instrumentation and electronic beats and hip-hop rhythms is one of the biggest hit singles of 2019 and started a new dance and viral craze #TheGitUpChallenge! To date it has had over 27 million online views and over 150 million online streams. It achieved #1 on the Billboard Country Song charts and is one of the most streamed songs of the year. In Australia it is certified Platinum, reaching #6 on the ARIA singles chart and #17 on the Spotify Top 50. It went #3 on the Australian Top 200 Shazam charts.
Country to Country Australia will be headlined by superstar Tim McGraw. McGraw will be joined by chart-topping singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini and Texas based trio Midland plus Eric Pasley (USA),Raelynn (USA), The McClymonts (AUS), Travis Collins (AUS), Lacy Cavalier (USA), Adam Eckersley Band, Reverie Lane (USA), Jess Moskaluke (CAN), Andrew Swift, Judah Kelly, Kaylee Bell (NZ),Sinead Burgess, Casey Barnes and Jody Direen (NZ).
Performances will take place over four stages: Arena Stage, Spotlight Stage, The Town Square and The Big Entrance Stage. There will also be multiple bars, authentic American style food, market stands and stalls, artist signings, meet & greets plus C2C Australia and artists merchandise. C2C is a full-day arena festival experience, the first of its kind in Australia, and is sure to become a must-see event every year.
