Australia’s premier country music festival, CMC Rocks QLD, today announces the festival has been reimagined with an exciting new format that’s going global on Apple Music with CMC ROCKS YOUR YARD, an exclusive streaming event taking Australia’s love of country music to fans all over the world!
 
From Friday 19 to Sunday 21 March between 7pm AEDT (6pm QLD) and 9pm AEDT (8pm QLD), CMC Rocks Your Yard will stream live on Apple Music Country globally, delivering the hottest mix of local and international country music, never-before-heard interviews, some of the best live performances ever to hit the CMC Rocks stage and so much more…!
 
For a solid 2 hours each evening, fans around Australia and the world can join host Morgan Evans as he takes a trip down memory lane, starting at 2008’s first annual CMC Rocks in the Snowy Mountains right through to 2019’s epic sold out CMC Rocks QLD, headlined by Florida Georgia Line, Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett.

Known for attracting the highest local and international calibre talent year on year, CMC Rocks is the first place that Australia’s country music fans choose to gather each year to enjoy a second-to-none music line-up and revel in an unforgettable festival experience.
 
“CMC Rocks QLD may have been postponed for 2021, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get the family together safely, to have a bit of a party next month! We know everyone’s feeling it, it’s been a tough time for a lot of people. We’re missing it too, that amazing energy that comes each March when CMC Rocks kicks off. But I think together with Apple Music, we’ve put together the next best thing – CMC Rocks Your Yard. It’s gonna be a hoot!”, said Michael Chugg, Festival Director.
 
Across the weekend that the 2021 festival would have taken place, CMC Rocks and Apple Music are encouraging music lovers near and far to gather their mates, laugh, dance, reminisce, and celebrate all things country music with this special streaming event.
 
Expect live performances from Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerini, Dean Brody, Dan + Shay plus more while festival favourites Lee Kernaghan, The McClymonts, The Wolfe Brothers, Brothers Osborne and Lee Brice join the party, sharing some favourite moments from their CMC Rocks visits, what they think makes the event so special, and why Australian country fans are the best in the world. Festival Directors Michael Chugg and Jeremy Dylan look back at some of their favourite moments over the years and share some backstage laughs, while beloved festivalgoer Big Jim – unmissable each year in his position front and centre at the main stage – tells us why he’s a CMC Rocks lifer.

“We couldn’t let our CMC Rocks weekend go by without doing something for our fans, the amazing community of folks throughout Australia who come together each year to make our festival the magical experience it is”, said Jeremy Dylan, Festival Director.

“This past year has been all about finding ways to be together without being able to be together, and now thanks to our friends at Apple Music, we think we’ve put together a program that’ll bring back all your favourite CMC Rocks memories and get you pumped for everything we’re cooking up for 2022, so I hope everyone out there tunes in to hear Morgan and co rock your yard next month”.
