British hard-rockers, Thunder, release of their 13th studio album ‘All The Right Noises’ on 12th March 2021. Since their debut album “Backstreet Symphony” in 1990 the no hold barred sound of the band has seen them create a hugely successful 30+ year career. Consisting of vocalist extraordinaire Danny Bowes and songwriting genius and guitarist Luke Morley, the undeniably tight rhythm section of Chris Childs and Gary James, and not forgetting Ben Matthews on Guitars and Keyboards.

The band started the album pre lockdown and originally slated it for September 2020, but the wait is worth it. Opening with “Last One Out Turn Out The Lights”, which is a straight out of the gates rocker great up-tempo rocker that has a serious side to the lyrics. Next up is “Destruction”. Easily the heaviest song on the album possibly even in Thunder’s career. This one brings the tone down but grinds along, with its almost Grungy vibe. All The Right Noises is Thunders 4th album since coming back from hiatus in 2015
and shows they still have plenty to say. Songs like ‘St. George’s Day‘ highlights the plight of immigrants coming into the UK. While serious its not out of place on the record, along side the straight up AC/DC-esque “Going To Sin City”. “Love Walked In” and “I’ll Be The One” show the sensitive side of the band and the ballad lovers will be in heaven.

From the stellar bass work of “Don’t Forget to Live Before you Die” to the final powerful track “She’s A Millionairess” The band are consistent with their riffs, melody and delivery. Its easy to see why they have had such a revered career. You wont find a filler track anywhere on this album
