Today we and joined by Jason Wade and Steve Stout
Jason is the founding member and vocalist of the powerhouse rock band Lifehouse, and Steve has been Lifehouse’s lead guitar player for over a decade. They also have a band together named ØZWALD, and the two collaborate with the writing and production of Jason’s solo music which includes 2024’s amazing record “A LIkely Story”.
Jason and Steve will be hitting Australian shores in May, with Train and K.T Tunstall, for what is shaping up to be an amazing triple bill and a great night.
We chat with Jason and Steve about the upcoming tour, also touch on the songwriting processes they have developed together, and how the touring and music businesses have changed since the formation of Lifehouse, who’s status we also touch on.
We have lots of laughs along the way talking about Shoey’s, phone content, and how the D-I-Y music industry is the new way forward.
We could not be more grateful to Jason and Steve for their time, and we cannot wait to see them with Train and KT Tunstall.
