H2ZHW: BRADIE WEBB OF SHORT STACK

Posted In Uncategorised

Beloved Budgewoi rockers Short Stack will be hitting the road this October, November and December, kicking off their extensive Regional(ish) national tour before hitting the stages at Good Things Festival in early December.

From adorning countless Myspace pages in the early 2000s to proving that pop punk is alive and well decades later, beloved Budgewoi rockers Short Stack are back in sparkling form in 2023. Short Stack have amassed a dizzying array of accolades, including being dubbed Channel V Oz Artist of the Year twice (in 2008 and 2010), scoring Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Fave Aussie Band in 2010, an ARIA #1 for their debut album Stack Is the New Black, with plenty of gold and platinum-selling singles along the way.

Breaking up in 2012, and then a brief re-formation and second break-up in 2014 and 2015 respectively, and once again jubilant Short Stack reunion in 2020 ultimately led to the band’s 2022 studio album Maybe There’s No Heaven. Amalgamating the trio’s colourful decade-long career with a renewed creative lease on life, Short Stack truly soared to sensational heights on their latest album, blending hooky bangers, sharp execution and searing authenticity into an 11 track masterpiece – and all entirely on their own terms.

The band found themselves on national television earlier this year after a tongue-in-cheek social media post, Short Stack’s online presence and ever-burgeoning fanbase continues to sharply rise, with the group also currently featured on Spotify’s Rock Out, Fresh Finds AU & NZ and Pop Punk’s Not Dead editorial playlists. Following a sold-out capital city comeback tour in 2022, the band have just completed a regional Australian tour for the first time in over a decade.

With more polish and power than ever before, the band will work their way around the country this October and November with special guests Hevenshe and The Beautiful Monument.

They will also appear at the hotly-anticipated Good Things Festival 2023 edition, alongside the likes of Fall Out Boy, Limp Bizkit, Devo and many, many more.
