The band’s ascent from local community halls to headlining massive arenas stands as a testament to their resilience and dedication. Kicking off the night was the rising metal band Void Of Vision, whose performance set the tone for an electrifying evening. With their latest album, “What I’ll Leave Behind,” the band showcased their growth and undeniable stage presence, particularly that of frontman Jack Bergin. His connection with the audience was palpable, making it evident that they are on the brink of breaking into the mainstream. Tracks like ‘The Lonely People’ and ‘Into The Dark’ captivated the crowd, affirming that this young band has much to offer the metal scene.

Then a walkway lowered from the ceiling joining the B-Stage to the Main Stage, right then as the band turned to watch the scrim drop, allowing the band and crowd to bask in the epic-ness of a stage depicting a desolated urban scene. The elaborate stage setup was a sight to behold, and the moment they transitioned into ‘Glitch,’ complete with dancers, was nothing short of groundbreaking for an extreme metal show.
The surprise guest appearance by Michael Crafter from I Killed The Prom Queen added depth to the performance, demonstrating the band’s ability to innovate while honoring their influences. One particularly heartwarming moment occurred when Winston McCall invited a young fan onto the C stage, leading the crowd to “make a circle pit around the grommet” for ‘Idols and Anchors‘.
