The Triffid was jam packed before the first band went on, so you knew it was going to be a huge night.
Starting off were locals Krave. This was my second time seeing them, and they are just amazing.
Lead by Siana on Bass and Vocals, Krave are tight, loud and fun, they will only go up from here, make sure
you catch when you get a chance.

Mannequin Death Squad were up next with their metal White Stripes vibe. The crowd seemed to really get into them
and they played a well received set.

Normally people just mill around and chat while set changes take place. Clearly no one told the fans of Suicidal Tendencies
We had moshing, circle pits and even a crowd surfer before the band even took the stage. We were in for a big one!

Before you knew it, it was on. The band slammed straight into “You Can’t Bring Me Down” and for a 33 year old song, it has not
aged a day. The band delivered an old school set full of aggression and power. Mike Muir stalked the stage and the band literally
spent the entire set kicking, jumping off amps and dodging each other without missing a beat.

The crowd and band fed off each other as the intensity rose to ridiculous levels. Songs like “I Shot Regan”, “Possessed To Skate”
“I Won’t Fall In Love Today” and “Facist Pig” kept the energy high. The punk greatest oozed from The Triffid from beginning to end

Congrats to the band and promoters on a sold out run, lets hope its not too long before they are back
