Australia’s beloved pop powerhouse Jessica Mauboy captures the energy, colour and celebration of one of the world’s biggest LGBTQIA+ music festivals on her brand-new digital EP, LIVE AT MIGHTY HOOPLA SYDNEY.
Recorded live during Jessica’s electrifying performance at Mighty Hoopla Sydney, the four-track collection, released on her music label Jamally Records, reimagines some of her biggest career-defining hits in front of a euphoric festival crowd. Featuring fan favourites ‘Running Back’, ‘Inescapable’, ‘Saturday Night’ and ‘Pop A Bottle’, the EP delivers the unmistakable joy, powerhouse vocals and dancefloor energy that have made Jessica one of Australia’s most enduring live performers.
“Mighty Hoopla was honestly one of the most fun and uplifting crowds I’ve ever played to,” explains Mauboy. “There was just so much love, freedom and happiness in the air, everyone completely letting go and living in the moment through music. We recorded the performance, and listening back afterwards, I kept feeling that same energy and connection. I really wanted to release this EP to capture that feeling and bottle up that moment so fans could experience it with me too.”
Timed to coincide with Pride celebrations globally, the release celebrates connection, inclusivity and the timeless pop moments that have soundtracked audiences for more than a decade.
Originally released between 2008 and 2013, the songs featured on LIVE AT MIGHTY HOOPLA SYDNEY collectively achieved multiple Platinum certifications and Top 10 ARIA chart success, helping cement Jessica Mauboy as one of Australia’s most iconic contemporary artists.
Backed by her acclaimed touring band and dancers, the live recordings capture the vibrant atmosphere of the show, from crowd singalongs to high-energy choreography and festival-sized production.
