5 x ARIA Award, APRA, AWMA, NLMA and 2 x AIR winner artist Katie Noonan will release her 30th studio album, Alone but all one, on June 26th and is available to pre save now.  The album is an intimate and poignant exploration of love in all its stages and features Katie’s first songwriting collaboration with acclaimed writer Trent Dalton. The album is a powerful and delicate offering with Katie’s piano and a string quartet the only accompaniment for her exquisite vocal performance. “This album is for anyone who’s gone through a life shift – not just separation, but grief, uncertainty, or quiet reinvention,” reveals Katie. “It’s music for sitting with things. For remembering we’re not alone, even in solitude. It’s personal, but I hope it will resonate in a way that becomes collective.” Fans will have the chance to hear the first taste of Alone but all one on March 6th with ‘This Isn’t What I Signed Up For.’ The track serves as an emotional farewell to a chapter that ended unexpectedly, while also marking the beginning of Katie’s next journey. Through universally relatable themes, her vocals delicately capture the poignant heartbreak of saying goodbye, walking through the door to start afresh.

Alone but all one is a quiet turning inward – a return to something essential. Musically it is very stripped back – just Katie, her piano and a string quartet, recorded live in her lounge room on Gubbi Gubbi Country in the hills behind Nambour, Queensland.

It feels like a deep breath before the next chapter. The creative intention is clear: to honour this moment, share it with care and trust that others will feel themselves in it too.
