Today we are joined by Brian Tichy
Brian is a musical journeyman, Brian studied music at, and has a degree from, the prestigious Berklee College of Music.
Brian has performed and recorded with artists: Billy Idol, Foreigner, Whitesnake, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Ozzy Osbourne, WASP, Don Felder, B’Z, Lynch Mob, Vinnie Moore, Michael Schenker, Seether, Velvet Revolver, Zakk Wylde’s Pride & Glory, The Dead Daisies, Glenn Hughes, Slash’s Snakepit and is also the founder of the popular celebration events, Bonzo Bash and Randy Rhoads Remembered.
Brian took us back in time to tell us about his musical upbringing, and how he came to be a multi instrumentalist. We then move in to the various points in his career and up to the present, playing with Gene Simmons, and also starting the process of recording a solo album.
Brian also takes us behind the scenes of what its like to audition for bands, but also shares some valuable advice for young musicians on how to prepare for an audition, its a really cool peek behind the curtain.
