Jay Weinberg joined Slipknot in 2014 and has been a part of the groups releases .5: The Gray Chapter (2014), Day of the Gusano (2017), All Out Life (2018) (non-album single), We Are Not Your Kind (2019) and the brand new album The End, So Far which is out September 30th through Roadrunner Prior to release the band teased the tracks “The Chapeltown Rag”, “The Dying Song” (Time To Sing), and “Yen” which only gave a snippet to the complexity and depth on the album, The album was produced by the band and Joe Barresi and marks some of the darkest vibes of any Slipknot album to date. Album Review: Slipknot – The End, So Far

From start to finish this album takes you on dramatic highs and punishing lows. The lyrics seem to tell a story of the ever changing world we are in, and how we are all coping, or not coping, in our new normal. This is all wrapped up in the aggressive passionate rollercoaster that Slipknot is. Don’t go into this one without a seatbelt as it’s a hell of a ride.

There has been a lot of hype around this album. Some of it negative which shocks me. Respect the artist for the artist. They can have multiple projects and be successful at all of them. This album is a testament to that.
