For Record Store Day 2026 (April 18), the Brian Wilson estate and Oglio Entertainment are releasing On Tour 1999–2007, a limited-edition live collection capturing the legend during his acclaimed post-millennium
renaissance.

Release Overview
Format: 12″ Marbled/Coloured Vinyl.
Quantity: Strictly limited to 2,000 copies worldwide.
Content: A curated set of rare live performances from iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, London’s Royal Festival Hall, and UCLA’s Royce Hall.
Label: Released via Oglio Entertainment and Primary Wave Music.

While Brian Wilson’s live legacy is often anchored by the legendary Live at the Roxy (2000), On Tour 1999 2007 serves as an essential bridge that documents the years following that triumph. Exceptional Setlist & Deep Cuts: The track list is a treasure trove for fanatics, featuring songs rarely performed or only played during specific tours.

Highlights include a 1999 version of “This Could Be The Night” and rare live renderings of “The Night Was So Young” and “Busy Doin’ Nothin'”. The Power of the Wondermints: This era is defined by the impeccable chemistry between Brian and his backing band (including members of the Wondermints), who brought a precision to the vocal harmonies that arguably rivalled the original studio sessions. The band played not only live with Brian but on a high volume of his studio releases as well from 1999 to 2022.

Production Quality: Produced by longtime collaborator Mark Linett, the recordings aim to preserve the “warmth and precision” of Brian’s most inspired solo chapter.

My Take
This release is a MUST have not only for a Beach Boys fan but also for anyone who truly appreciates the musical genius that is Brian Wilson. The depth of tracks highlighted on this record alone is the perfect companion piece to previous releases Live at The Roxy (2000) and Pet Sounds Live (2002).

Will I buy it?
Whilst I am not a vinyl collector as such, I am a Brian Wilson accumulator – If there is any possibility this doesn’t get released on CD I will gladly part with my hard-earned money for this extremely beautiful piece of 12 inch. If you are fan of music – you don’t need me to tell you this needs to be a part of your catalogue. There is only Brian Wilson and less than 12 months since we lost the legend this is a fittingly exquisite music memoir. After a few listens of the complete album for review there is no doubt, I will be
chasing a copy!

Music wouldn’t be what it is today with Brian Wilson. The man stands alone at the top of the mountain as a writer, producer and arranger of some of the greatest soundtrack songs of our lives. This collection is testament of the man’s ability after numerous personal issues through the years to deliver another resounding blue chip to his already bolstering resume.

Collector’s Note
This is one of two Brian Wilson RSD 2026 releases; the other is a first-ever vinyl pressing of his 1998 solo album Imagination. Given the low pressing count of 2,000 for On Tour, fans should prioritize being at their local record store early on April 18.
