Dermot Kennedy’s sold out final show of his Australian tour at Riverstage Brisbane in 2023 and it was an unforgettable experience. As a fan of his music, I was eagerly anticipating the concert and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment Dermot took the stage, his powerful and emotive voice captured the attention of the entire audience. His soulful and raw vocals were even more impressive live, and it was clear that he poured his heart and soul into every song. The energy and emotion he brought to each performance was truly mesmerizing.
Riverstage is the perfect venue for this concert, providing an intimate experience even with thousands in attendance. The crowd was fully engaged and it was evident that everyone was there because they genuinely love Dermot’s music. The atmosphere was electric and it was a night filled with singing, dancing, and pure joy.
One of the highlights of the concert was when Dermot performed his hit singles ‘Outnumbered’ and ‘Power Over Me’. The entire crowd sang along, creating magic. I am sure these moments wont be forgotten any time soon by the crowd or Dermot, himself.
But, for Dermot, the show isn’t just about the hits and popular songs. They all stood out, every song in his setlist was delivered with passion.
If you are a fan of Dermot Kennedy’s music, I highly recommend attending one of his concerts. His live performances are a true testament to his talent and passion for music. And if you have the opportunity, I highly recommend splurging on the meet and greet package. It’s not about being a crazy fan, but rather a chance to experience Dermot’s incredible voice in its purest form.
It’s clear that he is not only a talented singer-songwriter but also a genuine and down-to-earth person. If you ever have the chance to see him live, don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it.
