Wow. Just wow. High energy doesn’t even begin to cover it this gig was like being strapped into a rollercoaster built in a graveyard, powered by lightning, and driven straight through the gates of hell. From the very first scream to the last crashing note, Wednesday 13 and Kim Dracula turned Princess Theatre into a haunted carnival, a horror spectacular that Brisbane will be talking about for years.

From Graveyards to Glory: Wednesday 13 & Kim Dracula Deliver the Shock Rock Show of the Year”

Wednesday 13 – The Graveyard King

Wednesday 13 hit the stage first, face painted, scars glowing under the lights, and instantly the room transformed. “Bats Dragged In” and “Good Day / Bad Guy” set the tone raw, snarling, unapologetic shock rock at its finest. The man is a vampire ringmaster, a superstar who somehow channels the energy of the 80s horror-rock heyday and makes it feel brand new.

Wednesday “Alice Cooper meets The Munsters” Ferocious, charismatic, dripping with attitude. Every lyric was spat like a curse, every scream a dagger. The guitars were sharp and jagged, the bass rumbling like coffins being dragged across stone, and the drums pounding like war drums in a zombie uprising.

The setlist was a blood-splattered dream: “Rotting Away”, “I Want You Dead”, “Vincent Price”, “The Devil Commands”. Each song felt like a scene in a horror movie, with the crowd as extras in the madness. When “Summertime Suicide” hit, the roof nearly came off Brisbane vampires chanting, lights flashing, energy rolling like a thunderstorm.

And then the classics: “I Walked with a Zombie”, “Bad Things”, and the finale “FUCK”. It was chaos, it was theatre, it was pure shock rock brilliance. Wednesday 13 reminded us why he’s the master of mayhem a performer who doesn’t just play songs, he raises the dead and throws a party with them.

Kim Dracula – The Superhero of Chaos

Then came the Tasmanian terror, the unlikely superhero, the genre-defying genius: Kim Dracula. Cloaked in a Joker-esque vibe, he walked through the crowd like a comic book villain turned saviour, and the Brisbane faithful screamed like they’d just seen their messiah.

A kaleidoscope of sound, screams, croons, raps, whispers, all delivered with theatrical flair. He doesn’t just sing; he performs like he’s summoning demons and angels at the same time.

The bass was punchy and funky, vibrating the room with every note. The drums pounded through irregular, shifting rhythms, keeping the audience on edge. The guitars chunked and soared, adding weight and drama to every track. Together, they were a powerhouse, perfectly matching Kim’s unpredictable energy.

The set was a whirlwind: “Land of the Sun”, “My Confession”, “Divine”, “Kitty Kitty”, “Make Me Famous”. Each track was a theatrical explosion, a mix of chaos and beauty that felt like a Broadway show colliding with a metal gig. Covers like “Bad Romance” and Pearl Jam’s Even Flow had the crowd screaming, while originals like “1800 Close Ur Eyes” and “Undercover” proved Kim is one of the most original, genre defying artists of his generation.

The theatrics were next-level cloaks, lights, drama, emotion. It wasn’t just a gig; it was a production, a spectacle, Tim Burton would be proud! A horror-themed fever dream that left the audience gasping.

Together, Wednesday 13 and Kim Dracula created something unforgettable. Wednesday brought the oldschool shock rock chaos, while Kim delivered the newschool theatrical madness. It was like watching Dracula and Frankenstein throw a rave in a haunted mansion.

The crowd was drenched in sweat, grins, and goosebumps. Brisbane became a horror playground, a place where vampires, zombies, and superheroes danced together under flashing lights.
