VUKOVI have announced they have signed to SharpTone Records. To celebrate the announcement the band have released a brand new single CREEP HEAT. The single had its first play on BBC Radio 1’s Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe, and is the band’s first new music since the release of their album NULA in October last year.
Speaking about their new label, Janine said “We have both been fans of Sharptone throughout the existence of VUKOVI. Our paths finally meeting is a real pinch me moment”
The band have also released a video for the new single which was directed by Janine. Speaking about what this meant to her: “I want this to be a catalyst for more women to start believing they are more than capable of directing; the industry and future generations need us. I’m always learning and growing as I go, there is never a right time to start other than now. I’m very grateful to be so well supported and believed in by Hamish and our team. I feel seen”
After a busy few months playing festivals such as Slam Dunk, Full Force Fest (Germany) and Resurrection Fest (Spain), VUKOVI will support Babymetal on their upcoming UK tour this November.
