H2ZHW: Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt

In this episode we are lucky to be hanging with the legendary Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme.

We were lucky to cover a lot of bases with Nuno. We chat about the new album, which is one of our favourites of 2023, and I think the best of their career to date. Other things on the list is the chance of Extreme playing a VH3 track, his relationship with Washburn Guitars, the legacy of a 40 year old career and his production company Atlantis Entertainment Thanks to Nuno for his time, this was a bucket list interview for me! Cannot wait to see the guys on our shores very very soon

News: Locket Share New Single “Blame My Brain”

“This song is about being so used to keeping thoughts to yourself, that by the time you’re ready to open up or express yourself, the words escape you,” says frontman Brad Garcia. “Almost like the introvert in me is keeping the extrovert at arm’s length, but never closer. I’m envious of people I know who are able to express themselves so effortlessly. I’m sure people who grew up in similar households — sharing wasn’t really a part of the routine — can relate. Lyrics aside, this song was a perfect exercise for honing in on who we are, or were, when we started writing the record back in 2021. It’s familiar territory explored through whatever lens we had at the time. Power chords and vocoders? Sure, why not.”
