H2ZHW: Danny Worsnop Of Asking Alexandria

To celebrate the release of the new Asking Alexandria album “Where Do We Go From Here”
which is out today August 25th, we are hanging with the bands lead singer Danny Worsnop.

The 11-track album was produced and mixed by Matt Good (Hollywood Undead, From First To Last),
and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Deftones, Metallica) and Will Borza. The album is a culmination of the band’s career, melding their traditional metalcore sound with experimental electronics while its lyrics cover the band’s trademark themes of disenchantment, loss, anxiety, and dejection.

ASKING ALEXANDRIA released WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?’s first official single “Psycho” in June. It has since received over 2 million streams and more than 375k video views. Alongside the release of “Psycho,” ASKING ALEXANDRIA also unveiled the vindictive, heavy-hitting track “Bad Blood” and shared its lyric video.

Notably, the album’s explosive debut track “Dark Void” (released May 12) has to date received 1.2 million video views and over 7.2 million streams.

“Dark Void” presents contrasting themes of melancholy and aspiration of day-to-day life in the modern world, while seamlessly blending the band’s anthemic stadium rock sound with a call back to their metalcore beginnings.

Danny dropped by to talk the new album, his tequila, and the chances we will be seeing the band in 2024
