Live Review: Grinspoon – Brisbane 2019 Live Review by Hear2Zen Magazine - November 10, 20190 Artist: Grinspoon Venue: Fortitude Music Hall Date: 8th November 2019 Reviewer: Hayley Treadwell Photographer: Hang Me On Your Wall Photography Grinspoon are Aussie rock royalty. From their 1995 Triple J Unearthed win, they have forged their own path and taken the good with the bad and more. As a celebration of this, they decided to head out on the "Chemical Hearts" tour. Once again we find ourselves at The Fortitude Music Hall, which is quickly becoming the premier music venue in Brisbane. Bugs started off the night, with a quick set but a well received set. It is nice to see people out early to support. Newcastle two piece The Gooch Palms were the surprise packet of the night.
Live Review: The Cat Empire – Brisbane 2019 Live Review by Hear2Zen Magazine - October 20, 2019October 20, 20190 Artist: The Cat Empire with Grace Barbé MusicVenue: Fortitude Music HallDate: September 19th 2019Reviewer: Hayley TreadwellPhotographer: Jayde Lotus Photography It was my first time walking into Brisbane newest live music venue, Fortitude Music Hall and I was instantly blown away. Hailing from Melbourne, these guys have produced some of the highest quality fusion music Australia has to offer. The crowd was packed in, on the floor and on the balcony for the opening act Grace Barbé Music, and as someone who frequents live music, it was refreshing to see so many people out to support the nights opener. And the crowd was not disappointed.

The Grates do a great job warming the crowd up and receive a well deserved reception. Not long to wait until The Flaming Lips hit the stage with confetti and balloons decending on the crowd. The stage is turned into a playground all throughout the night. Wayne surfing the crowd inside an inflatable ball, is not something you see at other shows. It’s just not gonna
